![]() ![]() Ruben, Jared, and David all have a friend named Laurence Roger Moore. Over the years of course the children grew up. They were all sealed in the temple as a family. A year later in 1942, he took his family up to Salt Lake. When Father and Mother immigrated, Father adopted Ruben and Jared. Father’s brother Louis and Yvonne later had three children, Melissa, James, and Charlotte. Both brothers snuck out in the middle of the night when nobody was watching. His brother Louis James and his wife Yvonne left and went to Hawaii. He moved his family to Pineville away from the war. Father wanted his family growing up in safety. She is a quiet person and speaks softly about her brother. He couldn’t stand the thought of losing another child or his wife. Thomas is buried in a cemetery in Delland. Thomas had been the problem as to why Mother was having problems. On March 7th 1941 Martha Alice, and Thomas Scott were born. She was happy to hear this, because towards the end of the year she started having health problems. She also has to be careful because she can end up pregnant really easy. Whenever she is pregnant, her body can’t have just one baby. On March 6th 1940 Sarah Ann, Eliza Jane, and David Louis III were born. Grandmother and the Queen of England were happy for her. He told her to go home and put her feet up for six months. ![]() A third heart beat! He told mother that her problem was triplets. He kept listening, pretty soon he picked up another heart beat. A short while later Mother wasn’t feeling well. Almost three months later on March 5th 1939, the twins were born. They both new it was love at first sight.Īfter a short engagement, they were married on Christmas Eve 1938. Before leaving England he started courting her. He saw how pretty Mother is and asked for her name. ![]() He immediately apologized and helped her up on her feet. Father walked into the library and accidentally bumped into Mother knocking her down. ![]() He served in Pineville for two years and then returned home.įather hadn’t been home from his mission to terribly long when he went on a business trip with his mother to England. He changed the spelling of the name Smyth to Smith so that nobody would know who he is. Father was called to serve in the Pineville mission in the United States. When Father was nineteen he decided to serve a mission for the LDS church. He is named after his father who is also David Louis Smyth. Mother always looked to her as a Mom, even though the two of them are not related.įather who is David Louis Smyth Jr. She was careful where she was pregnant with twins. Mother wanted to feel needed so she got hired on as a maid. She let Mother live at the palace where she would be protected. The Queen was in the neighborhood and happened to hear Mother’s story. Mother is an orphan, which is why you never hear about her family. Mother, Margie Jones, had been going to college in England in the year 1938. It doesn’t matter how you spell it the name Smith is pronounced the same. I love America, and I love to say that my family is American.
